Mixing prints can be a lot of fun! For me, I have to admit its a challenge. To be fair, even my mixing here is pretty tame. If you follow RL fashion trends then I don’t need to tell you that print mixing can be super bold from leopard paired with florals to prints with prints that have nothing at all in common…but somehow work. I’m trying to get to that effortlessly mixing level where u look like u threw it together but look fab lol.
A lot of these pieces here are actually low in cost as I got a few from Fi*Friday. I love discovering new designers tho i will warn you – most of them are MP Mesh (wrinkles nose).
Hope your weekend is super pretty and filled with sparkle.

Hey lovies,
The title of this post is to pay homage to all you originators out there. If you strive to be one of a kind, support originality and find bliss in your individuality then kudos to you! I am struck dumb at how many struggle with this. How many are comfortable with copying. Despite the popular phrase, imitation is not always flattery.
Shout out to Gospel Voom for showcasing their originality with an amazing new skin match system! Gos released several new shoes today and you need to run, not walk, to pick up a pair. The shoe HUD literally allows you to chose from over 200 skins so you can achieve a flawless match with your skin.
Amen!

Ugh, so sorry for the boring background and dry credits – things have been hectic in SL & RL but wanted to post these looks. If there is anything you have a question on please don’t hesitate to leave a comment. Until next time!

Happy Holidays!! I have been so M.I.A. – I know, I know. This time of year is always hectic – then add managing 2 stores and a dose of lazy…and there you go! LOL. Anyhoo, I hope each and every one of you have a fantastic holiday and remember to let the special folks in your life know how important they are*. Oh! And this post features the new skin by Vive9, Estelle. It is fab but this skin has a sheen to it that definitely took some getting use to. Always help to rock the demo for awhile before deciding on new skin!
I hope to be back before 2012 ends with an extremely overdue home decor post – it will either be here or on flickr…again, depends on my level of laziness.
Peace & Blessings!

*I have to take a moment and send all my love and prayers to the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting and the family & friends that are left grieving for them. May god be with you at this time of loss.

The title of this post pays homage to an old hip hop song and my decision to go darker with my skin tone. I not only changed my skin but also my shape (not sure if you’ve heard but copybotters are out and about stealing shapes to sell on MP – mine was stolen also so beware!) I’m still rocking Vive9 as my go to skin (excited for their upcoming release Estelle coming soon – which is my Mom’s name too! Cute, huh?) Anyway, this post features some things you will find at various events on the grid and some oldies that I pulled from the back of my inventory.
Hope you all had a great holiday and see ya soon.

So i was so excited when Trash Wahwah (decorator extraordinaire) got inside my box with the offer to collaborate on a new concept series he is working on, Fashion to Furniture. My task: come up with 3 diverse looks that would inspire Trash to do what he does best, decorate! Head over to Trash’s blog to see how he was transformed the three looks below into 3 different rooms.

Below is a bit on info on the magazine. You can subscribe to it in-world here & be sure to check out the blog for credits on where to get all the fab stuff featured.

Inspiration Book, Vol. Nr I
SL Interior Forecase

The book will be fully devoted to SL Interior Design and will come out 2-4 times a year.
It will be of interest to interior, garden and prefab designers, texture artists, customers/shoppers.
Also it is meant to be NOT commercial as we plan to join talented and active people of SL and to give our readers ideas and inspiration tips.
“Inspiration Book” will be very visual, mostly a trend forecast and inspiration showcase, your guide to SL’s stylish future ! Not the “classic” magazine as we know it, we will be more focused on styling of your home.
